Oasis in the sand

As per usual my valentines day was extremely romantic, 15 hour jrky, swervy double decker bus ride with sarah barber. A 3 layered white bread and ham, half sandwhich, peach cup-o-jello, some snotty meat on nuitrition-free rice and a couple glasses of Inka cola. Peruvian men occupiing the seats surounding us, pearing through cracks. A hillary duff movie about finding her mother the right man and "the boys are" (in town) a movie that made me want to cry the whole way through but i didnt have time to blink god forbid i missed any of the subtitles, all would be lost. 125 pages of "One Day" a love story aboyt Dexter and Emma , Later failure to catch some shut eye, thrown around in my seat and the constant smell of nurse we finally made it to a place called Ica at 4 am. I had acctually expected to be held at gun point after reading in lonely plannet about this bus station but thankfully it was a smooth ride to Huacachina.
Huacachina, Holy balls.
This place is magic.
Our hostle- carola de sur lodge, an enclosed area with a pool blairing music all day, hamocks hanging benieth lushess green trees and 2 turdles minding their own bussiness and freely wondering. This town is probably a half kilimeter squared filled with palm trees and hydrated greenery, city center hold a merky lagoon, sparkleing oasis reflecting sun rays, free to paddle boat around in. Surrounding the entire town are masive sand dumes just complete desert every which way minus this green little village. Sand boarding tomrorw.
Already 3 shades darker/reder the sun beats hard rise to set and the nights are nark and warm. Music starts playing at 10 am, my only reminder of acctually time. I woke up this morning wanting banana pancakes and wondering where all the good people went. 3 cups of tea for breakfast and off to watch 17 chubby little boys bobbing around in their goggles as i scortch by the pool, waiting the appropriate 15 minutes prior entering the sun and swim post sunscreen aplication.
Im am sweating perfusely in this little room so im going to leave and go find some water.
Peace out a town.. dun dun dun dun
